This is a space where I will be sharing my thoughts on the Pimax Crystal Test unit I have. I will continue to add to it as time goes on.
Unit came well packed like a Russian doll. A box within a box within a box. Each box Neatly wrapped in firm fitting bubble wrap, protecting the precious cargo inside.
Headset seems a tad smaller than the 8KX.
Without battery weighs approx 1KG which is the same as the 8KX, but it feels lighter somehow.(maybe because it's more balanced?)
All in all the unit feel much smaller in hand than it looks like on videos i’ve seen.
Visually casing ditches that rubber coating, which means it won't be the dust magnet the 8KX was. It also feels and looks much higher quality than the previous HMDs
